WDR SX Facility is Live!

Welcome to World Dirt Racing. We're a new World Championship coming to MX Bikes. From the creators of the One-One SMX series, we're putting together an entirely new, custom SX/MX/Playoff championship for 2026 and we can't wait to share what we have in store. More details will be coming soon to our website, but for now, we're excited to launch the WDR Supercross Facility. The facility features two Supercross layouts and a bonus Pit Bike track, all with complete race data and mapping so you can race all three tracks online.

Before you jump in, we want to give a little insight on our Supercross tracks found in the facility as this is the template we will be using for the upcoming 2026 Championship, which, did we mention every round of the championship will be free? Yep!

Scaling

We spent a lot of time focusing on creating scaling that was fun, challenging, and realistic for both 250s and 450s. Looking at some other SX tracks in MX Bikes, we noticed that 250s can be nearly impossible to ride…and they shouldn't be. Tripling into a rhythm section out of a corner should be fairly simple and messing up a rhythm shouldn't mean you need to single your way to the end either. So, we created a template closer to real-life scaling that makes it more realistic to hit rhythms as you would expect, but in turn forcing you to rely more on throttle control and precision instead of speed. Jumps are steep, tables are short, and spacing is tight, meaning clearing isn't an issue - timing is. Due to the shape and spacing of our template, hitting a section at full throttle can result in over-jumping, even on a 250. This means our scaling on a 450 requires you to blip the throttle through a section instead of just holding down the right trigger. Bigger lines are doable, but sometimes the risk is not worth the reward. Because of the jump shapes, they send you high instead of far, encouraging you to focus more on checking up and taking the lower lines. Our goal with this new template is to bring back the core fundamentals of Supercross and MX Bikes - going slow to go fast.

Ruts

Premade ruts are designed to be optional, meaning you don't have to take them. You can cut down over them or skip them altogether. But they are placed strategically to encourage you to use them. By default, they are mellow and designed to let the deform break them in over time. This means you can't immediately rail them, especially inside lines, as they don't have enough grab to hold your wheel at first. You have to take them a lap a time until you can trust that they will hold your wheels as the deform breaks in.

Weather

All tracks by World Dirt Racings are designed for dry and wet conditions. Every track will include texturing that is designed to look realistic in both dry and wet conditions. You may be wondering how this will apply to the Championship. Well, we can't tell you yet, but what we can say is that this is something very unique about our series and how we build our tracks. So…we'd encourage you to practice in the rain.

Terrain and Textures

All tracks by World Dirt Racings are built to the highest ability of the RedRum Track crew. Every track is built with high-quality textures and objects to make the environments feel as realistic as possible. Furthermore, to bring even more realism, every track is built with a dual-heightmap. This makes the terrain look and feel more realistic as it brings actual dimension and depth to the terrain without disrupting the physics - tread marks have physical depth and sand looks loose like it would in real life environments.

All layouts are currently live on the MXB servers.

When setting up a server to play the tracks online, first select wdr.2026.testtrack from the track list. This will default to the SX1 track. To play the other tracks, simply type "2" for the SX 2 track, or "3" for the Pit Bike track (without quotations) in the layout field next to the track selector. If you want to rotate between the two SX layouts, add two tracks, both set to wdr.2026.testtrack, with the second layout field as "2" That's it. Have fun and we can't wait to share what's coming to World Dirt Racing!
